Anu Sithara is an Indian film actress who works in Malayalam Industry.
Anu Sithara is a South Indian actress who appears in Malayalam movies. She debuted in the Malayalam film Pottas Bomb in 2013. Later, the actress was seen in the film Oru Indian Pranayakatha (2013), Anarkali (2015) & in Tamil language Veri (2015). Her first heroine movie “Happy Wedding” become an unreliable blockbuster in 2016. Apart from acting, Anu has made her presence in advertisements and stage shows.
Anu Sithara was born on 21 August 1995 at Wayanad, as the daughter of Abdul Salam & Renuka. She completed her schooling at SKMJ Higher Secondary School, Kalpetta and the degree from WMO Arts and Science College, Muttil. Anu took part in various competitions at the state level while during her school and college days. She got training in classical dance from Kerala Kalamandalam. Since she has a number of years of experience in dancing, Anu Sithara has opened up a dance school in Kalpetta by the name Navarasa.
Anu made her big screen debut in 2013 with the film ‘Pottas Bomb’ directed by Suresh Achoos. Anu was blessed to play a character role in ace filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad’s film ‘Oru Indian Pranayakatha’. The actress gave life to Athira, Prithviraj’s sister character in the film ‘Anarkali’. Anu is playing a prominent role ‘Happy Wedding’ which features ‘Premam’ film fame cast - Shiju Wilson, Sheraff, Shobin and Justin. Her upcoming movies are – Marupadi, Navel The Jewel, Campus Diary, Sarvopari Palakkaran, Fukri etc.
She is married to her long time boyfriend Vishnu Prasad since 8 July 2015.
